Harry Chapin sings Cats in the Cradle and Flowers are Red

Yes I found Harry himself singing two of my favorite songs so I wanted to share them with you all!

Harry was first introduced to me by my 2 year older brother in the early 1970s, he had bought 2 LPs .  I had not seen him perform before I found some YouTube clips where he becomes alive again. He died in a car accident in 1981 – sad for us who loves his music and lyrics and very special way of singing. I would think that he could be inspiring for many indie rock musicians today but I seldom hear him anywhere anymore – lets give his music new life online!

Harry’s brother Tom sang and played with Harry and Toms daughters are musicians too. They remind me of First Aid Kit:
