Monkey Business (1952)

Yesterday we watched the movie Monkey Business by Howard Hawk.  It was great!  It was funny too.

I have found that when a 1940-1950s film is shown on TV I often relate to it as something different than when a more modern film is shown. I find that if I take the time to get into the mode, get used to the loud and shrill voices of the women and men with a “men knows best” attitude and fast and witty  theatre like conversation, I usually enjoy the films.

I suffer with the chimpanzee though, who lives in a cage….
